(NC)?The arrival of warmer weather brings increased outdoor activities, including picnics and sporting events. All this carefree fun also increases the potential for getting stains on clothes from barbecue sauce, grass and chocolate ice cream. The summer heat can set those stains on fabric making it even tougher to remove. Here are some tips on how to hammer those stains at home so you can spend less time in the laundry room and more time outdoors:
Tips:
? Wash with warm water, it is more effective to breakdown stains.
? Use a detergent with a stain-fighting booster like, Arm & HammerPlus OxiClean Crystal Burst Power Paks. It is pre-measured, super-concentrated and has baking soda boosters to tackle the toughest stains.
? Wash clothing with stains as quickly as possible to avoid having the stain set any further. If you?re dealing with a very stubborn stain that didn?t come out in the wash avoid putting it in the dryer because it will set the stain making it difficult to remove. Simply put the clothing through a second wash cycle.
